“We realized that it was a great parcel of land and that we should acquire it.” “What attracted us to (the property) was the high-density zoning that was allowed on it, together with the proximity to the downtown and the access to the municipal infrastructure,” Simpson said. The apartments would include 40 studios, 169 one-bedroom and 31 two-bedroom units, ranging in size from 424 square feet to 1,050 square feet. Two of the buildings would contain 96 apartments, and the third building would contain 48 units. The Planning Commission met with the project team, including Simpson, engineer Nick Fiore, of Engineering Ventures, and Adam Wagner, of Market Square Architects, to provide project feedback to facilitate the development of a formal plan.Įach apartment building would be four stories tall, though the final heights have not been determined. The project is still in its conceptual phase. The Hartford Planning Commission met on Monday for an informal discussion with real estate developer Earle Simpson, of Wilder, who is seeking to build three apartment buildings, a small building for amenities and a parking lot with 344 spaces on a parcel between Hickory Ridge and Lily Pond roads. Lilypond Apartments ( the kids loved the name !!) is well worth considering when staying in the Coffs harbour area.WHITE RIVER JUNCTION - Developers are proposing an “extensive” apartment complex containing 240 residential units on Sykes Mountain Avenue, on an undeveloped 24-acre property sandwiched between existing single-family homes. It is a relaxing and peaceful place to stay and the communication with the management was helpful and friendly. There is a nice intimate little pool and outdoor spa available which would be great in the warmer months Considering it is off season for tourism at Coffs, Lilypond Apartments was very well priced to accomodate 7 in comfort. A decent kitchen with modern appliances, aircon and a good laundry all help to make the apartments suited to a longer stay. Bathrooms were quite big with a spa bath a nice touch. It was a tw storey arrangement with accomodation twin share and sofabed downstairs for the kids and two bedrooms (double and twin share) upstairs for the grownups. A sensational deck was on the eastern side that caught the morning sun for brekky very nicely. The apartment we were allocated was spacious and modern with a great outlook over the bush and ponds on the property. These apartments are set well off the highway in a leafy setting. After a frantic web search I came up with Lilypond Apartments at Korora and wasn't disappointed. We had a family stay (7 of us) at Coffs Harbour for a weekend and had a little difficulty finding Motel accomodation that would put us all together. We have no hesitation in recommending this accomodation to families or couples as it is clean, private and self contained.… We have a nice home ourselves and we always begrudge paying inflated summer prices to have less than we leave at home, but Lilyponds was just perfect. The managing couple were relaxed and welcoming and immediately replaced a leaking kettle, our only problem. The barbecue was ideal on the verandah and we used it most nights. The modern shopping centre just 5 mins the other way into Coffs Harbour had us buying fresh ingredients for dinner daily. We found the 12 minute drive to Emerald Beach, uncrowded and Surf Lifesaver patrolled, very easy indeed. ![]() We loved the outlook over the ponds and our son had a ball feeding the water fowl, playing with frogs and watching the water dragons. The airconditioning made coming home from the beach a treat and we were able to sleep no matter the outside temp. There is no real shallow end for young children who don't swim, but it was perfect for our 12 year old. It felt just as nice as home and the pool area was great, allbeit smaller than the photos make it seem. We were very happy with the full kitchen and laundry as we were self catering to save money. We stayed a week in January and found the place ticked all our boxes. Hotels near Pacific Bay Resort Golf Course.Hotels near Tranquility Beauty & Massage Retreat.
